"Its not a cruise ship, but I will see what can be done. She's not the only one who could use some time away methinks." His good eye twitched as though restraining a wink.

A smile remained on his lips as he slipped past her chuckling to himself. Hands clasped behind his back like some wizened sage, Sylus looked up and down the hall.

"Maybe its age catching up to me, but the solitude of the black ocean I have teaversed these past seventy years seem to be losing their gleam to my eye. Losing their call to trace their fringes. Perhaps a trip could reignite my passion for their near-limitless depths." He snapped his hands together in a quick, sharp, clap; the motion a blur of blue to those unoccustomed to such agility.

"Now. on to our dear Leuni." His tone suddenly crisp and chipper.

She couldn't help but smile at his enthusiasm reignited. She didn't hold back a quick wink as she passed him by.

"This way then!" she seemed to cheer up with the contageous chipper sound of his voice. It was so unusual for an Icesoran.

She took him down the hall and meandered to the closed one where Leun and Cam were at. She stopped at the door and peeked in through the window, glancing back to Sylus with a warning finger to her lips for his silence.

"I think she's sleeping" she whispered. "Let's be very quiet then."

She opened the door just enough to step in and paused in the doorway. The light from the hallway lit the room just a slight bit more. She waited for Cam to look at her before she gave him the same Shhh signal, then pointed to the Icesoran behind her.

Everytime Cam tried to move his hand, it prompted a disquieted noise, even a groan sometimes from her. She was still asleep, but the motion of moving threatened to wake her up. It was her comfort to know someone was right there. Her nose being stuffed made her snort once in a while. It was when the door opened and the light came in that she gave a soft little snort in her sleep and shifted unconsciously to pull the covers over her head. Leuni didn't wake, but she was very close to it.

"You're asking a motor-mouth to be quiet?" the words whispered softly with a grin as she disappeared inside, signalling to someone just out of sight.

A step taken back, he pushed a button on his armband and whispered something unintelligible. "Aye captain" came a clear enough confirmation to whatever was said.

"Also pick up some dry goods at the station commesary, they're prices are lower than other vendors along with more variety." Yep he was up to something alright.

Cam had been sitting there, quietly, diligently keeping his hand on her shoulder for most of the time. He tried once to shift it to her side but he almost woke her up in the process. He had to admit she made the cutest noises in her sleep. He was also beginning to admit just how much she meant to him.

When the door opened and the light filtered in, he turned his head to see two figures in the doorway. One he recognized immediately, catching her signal to her lips even though he couldn't see her face. He saw enough of Sha'uri's arm movement to know what she was doing. Cam nodded though his gaze didn't linger. Between the opening of the door and the soft crackle of a com unit in use, his attention went immediately back to Leun. He could already feel her shifting underneath his hand, kept firmly at her hip. He patted her gently for a moment, enough to give her body the signal that he was still there.

Glancing back, he noticed the hat on the other person now that Sha'uri had stepped through. Nobody wore hats like that, did they? Then he recalled that the Icesoran Leun was seeing did. Sure enough, as the mat hatter shifted his stance to walk in, he could see the blue of his skin. He recognized him now, having seen him in and around Crescents before, just never around Leun, except through the surveillance records he would sometimes analyze. He saw a lot through those....

Cam naturally eyed the Pirate with what might seem like suspicion as he analyzed the Icesoran, but only for a brief moment. He felt Leun move again and so he put up his free hand, signaling them to pause. Waiting a moment for her to settle, Cam then stood slowly, keeping that hand were it was.

When it seemed she had settled again, he motioned clearly to Sylus, pointing right at the pirate. He then moved his hand in a twirling motion, pointing next to his own hand, trying to make it clear Sylus needed to come replace Cam's hand there. And so the Meridian Security guard waited to be replaced.

A smile tugged at his lips over the antics of the other and the motions indicated, but still this was Leuni. He could play nice for her. Removing his hat, Sylus crept to the side of the bed and put his hand into position to slide under the other mans as it lifted. It seemed a little too much effort to the Blue Loon personally, however she did need comfort. Its why there were all present he surmised, Sha'uri telling him of what took place despite being pressed not to...and then this unknown fellow. But then it also meant careful waters.

".. Sy... light... cranberries..." she muttered in her sleep as the hand exchange took place. "..next week.. Oh, I don't know.... roast beef."

The pillow was moved over her head.

It was amazing what a sleeping form could unknowingly detect. She never once murmured anything until that blue hand replaced his on Leuni's hip. A sharp brow was raised, trying to make sense of her words. He settled on a quizzical grin leaving the Icesoran to sort it out. Cam moved out of the way so Sylus could sit down if he wanted to. He said nothing to the mad hatter, simply placed a hand on his shoulder and gave it a squeeze ... coupled with the steady look in Camron's dark eyes. There was a glimmer of purple in their depths cast from the light filtering in through the door. Cam eased up a bit, gave a nod and left them there, heading out the door.

Sylus offered a silent chuckle at her whispered words and then a little more at the stranger's understandable concerns. He did have a reputation, no?

Where his hand rested, the thumb moved in soft circles as he looked towards the door at Sha'uri and the departing man. I remember that age, he thought to himself. So full of dichotemes...

Finally his lavender gaze returned to Leuni with a soft, warm, smile. You have finally fallen, Leuni. Fought tooth and nail to keep it up, but the effort has worn you down. Pride goeth before. He didn't bother shielding these thoughts as they were more speculative than anything. But those who care for you are here, and we have more than enough strength to see you rise again. These thoughts swirled into memories of something else to rise again, images of a toppled fortress high in crusiform hills and entrenched by eternal winter.

"I'm here Leuni...where I should be." he whispered to her and the broken darkness of the room.

Sha'uri watched the exchange and stepped to the side to let Camron out. Then she slowly shut the door and moved to go after Camron, but the doctor stopped her in the hallway and took her to his office for a private conversation....

The light, the motion of his thumb upon her hip, the door closing and the whisper of his voice brought her around a moment or two later to shift to her other side. The pile of tissue that had been beside her was sent tumbling across the bed, onto the floor. She never noticed as she came to lay on her other side, facing Sylus. She woke up enough with the action to realize her pillow wasn't under her anymore and so she corrected that with all haste. That's when lavender hues caught the shape of a form, shadowed in the darkness beside the bed. The sape of the antennae atop the head signalled to her who it could be.

"Sylus?"

Her whisper was nervous as she propped herself up a bit. What was he doing here?

"Your's only..." Came his soft reply with a warm smile.

His antenae dipped and rose as if bowing, which couldn't be possible right? His hand rose with her movement to rest upon her leg as Leuni changed positions. "You think I wouldn't hear about this? I'm just glad you're alright, but upset I couldn't play the whole knight in rusty dented armor."

He scooched up the bed to be closer to her and smiled more. "By the stars you scared me when I was told you were in here."

She was almost horrified he was sitting there. There was only one explanation for it and Leuni.... realized, as her eyes filled with tears again, that Sha'uri was right in calling him here against her wishes. The hand.. those antenae... and his voice... she realized in that moment just how much she needed him.

"But you are." She leaned to him, arms going round his neck and pulled him close in a hug.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry.." she whispered.

His arms slid around her in an effort to further comfort as she shed more tears and offered apologies where none were required, yet another side of him knew enough tears had been shed and it was a time of forward movement. Thought to the future and what her next action should be.

"That's enough of that, Leun." Arms closing around her a little firmer. "Nothing to be sorry for just breath, love."

And she did. She breathed.. she cried.. and she held to him until the tears finally subsided. Tissue was the first thing she grabbed for when she finally pulled away.

She knew she was a mess and couldn't look at him, embarassed for tears and for the snot dripping from her nose. Part of her wanted to laugh at that, imagining what she did look like.. and at the same time wanted to cry for the same reason. Somehow she held it back. The tissue was quickly retrieved and she wiped her eyes and nose before she even ventured to look at him again, tentatively. She still tremored with uncontrolled sobs, though they were subsiding.

"I don't know what to do now, Sylus. I ... I don't even know how they are. Did Sha tell you ... about my parents? Are they okay?"

She herself knew nothing of them at this point.
