This species originated on Garshog. This planet is in the system Naper.

Long in their past, it is believed the Garian were more avian in nature although a good portion of the society do not hold to that idea. They did not join in space travel until some of their kind were taken forcibly from the planet by pirates who mistook them for birds that mimic what they hear. When those taken found their freedom, they returned with stories that drove the Garian into the stars.

They are practical but are also easily irritated. Never stare at a Garian's feet, they see this as offensive and have been known to attack verbally and physically when provoked. If a Garian takes food from you, it is a sign of trust.

Garian make excellent pilots but require seats and controls be modified for their size.
