History: Planet Ki-yan is a merchant planet well known for herbal remedies and cybernetic enhancements. There is no recorded history of the origin of the Lothu. They simply exist along side the other 2 distinct races in the system. There are no recorded wars between the three races. Any altercation involving these three races always ends with successful negotiations and treaties.

Comments: It has been argued that the Kiyan are the original race in the system with the Z'rthi and Lothu races having developed over time through selective breeding choices. Other schools of thought argue the opposite; that the two races existed before the Kiyan and that the Kiyan are the 'child' race.

Other Notes: Although the debate has been raging for centuries, the answer is not clear and the three races currently tend to exist and coincide in peace. More or less that is.
